What The Awakening Is

This is not a retreat.
It is a controlled rupture.

Most people try to change in the same environment, surrounded by the same triggers, running the same daily patterns. They read the books, do the sessions, understand the concepts — and then go home to the same life. Because the identity structure underneath never changed.

The Awakening works on a different principle. Remove a person from every familiar cue — their environment, their routines, their relationships, their food, their phone — and the nervous system loses its grip on the old baseline. The reconsolidation window opens wide. New meaning can be written into old stories at a depth that ordinary life never permits.

Five days of total immersion: identity curriculum, subconscious depth work, nature immersion, somatic processing, community, and the specific conditions that allow transformation to happen at the level it actually needs to — not behavior, not mindset, but the story underneath.

You will come wearing one identity. You will leave having seen clearly — possibly for the first time — where that identity came from, what it has been costing you, and what becomes possible when it shifts.

The Science

Why immersion changes what nothing else can

The brain doesn't change through understanding. It changes through experience — specifically, through the combination of emotional activation and new meaning arriving in the same moment. Immersion creates the conditions for this to happen repeatedly, over days, at a depth no weekly session can reach.

Mechanism 01

Environmental Novelty

New environment = new nervous system state. Familiar environments cue familiar patterns. Remove the cues and the identity structure loses its scaffolding. The old baseline can no longer self-reinforce.

Mechanism 02

The Reconsolidation Window

When a conditioned memory is activated and a contradictory experience arrives within the same window, the brain reconsolidates — updating the memory with new meaning. Immersion keeps this window open for days, not minutes.

Mechanism 03

Emotional Activation + Meaning

Insight without activation doesn't reach the subconscious. Activation without new meaning just rehearses the old story. The Awakening pairs both — deliberately, repeatedly — across five consecutive days.

Mechanism 04

Community Mirroring

We see ourselves most clearly in the presence of others going through the same work. The small group format (10–15 people) creates the safety and the pressure that accelerates what solo work cannot.

The Structure

Five days. One sequence.

Each day builds on the last. The arc follows the Rewrite → Rewire → Retrain sequence — but lived, not lectured. Every element of the environment is intentional: the food, the movement, the schedule, the solitude, the community.

Day1

Sunday Evening — Arrival & Orientation

The container opens. Arrival, settling in, and the first deep dive into the NLH identity curriculum. You begin mapping your story — where it came from, how it's been running, what it's been costing across every domain. The goal of the first evening is clarity: seeing the shape of what we're working with before we begin moving it.

Day2

Monday — Movement, Fascial Work & DEEP Preparation

Morning begins with rhythmic movement and fascial release work — preparing the body to participate in what the mind is doing. The nervous system lives in tissue, and the tissue needs to be ready. The afternoon moves into preparation for the DEEP process: the reconsolidation window, what to expect, and how to work with what surfaces rather than against it.

Day3

Tuesday — First DEEP Session & Integration

Morning movement and fascial work, then the first full DEEP (Depth-Enhanced Emotional Processing) session. Breath-based activation opens the subconscious, sacred cacao supports the depth of access, and the guided process pairs new meaning with old emotional material. The afternoon is structured integration — journaling, small group processing, and rest. You don't push past what moved. You let it settle.

Day4

Wednesday — Nature Immersion, Coaching & Deconstruction

Morning movement, then time in the mountains — solitude, slow walking, silence. The nervous system needs unstructured time after Tuesday's depth work. Forest immersion is not filler; it is part of the mechanism. The afternoon returns to intensive group coaching and identity deconstruction: the patterns that have been surfacing get named, examined, and actively restructured.

Day5

Thursday — Final DEEP Session & Integration

Morning movement and fascial work, then the final DEEP session. This one lands differently than the first — the body is more open, the story is more visible, and the emotional charge has already begun to shift. The second DEEP process often reaches what the first one was preparing. Afternoon is structured rest and deep personal integration time.

Day6

Friday Morning — Reintegration & Departure

The final morning is dedicated to one thing: preparing you to go home. You leave with a specific, written reintegration plan — identity commitments, behavioral anchors, and a clear understanding of what the familiar environment will pull on and how to meet it. Departure by noon. The Awakening ends. The application begins.

What's Included

Everything is designed. Nothing is accidental.

Every element of The Awakening — the food, the accommodations, the schedule, the social structure — is chosen for its effect on the nervous system and the identity structure. There is no filler.

5 Nights Accommodation

Dorm-style rooms with separate men's and women's areas. Limited private rooms available on request. The shared environment is intentional — it is part of the work.

All Meals Provided

Food is chosen to reduce inflammatory load and support cognitive clarity. Optional modified fasting (500–1,500 cal/day) is available for those who want it.

NLH Identity Curriculum

Daily classroom immersion in the SIGNAL model, MUD framework, and the Rewrite → Rewire → Retrain sequence. Taught live by Dr. Jade Teta.

Subconscious Depth Sessions

Breath-based activation combined with somatic processing and sacred cacao — designed to open subconscious access and pair new meaning with old emotional material.

Daily Nature Immersion

Rhythmic walking and solitude in the North Carolina mountains. Forest immersion as a nervous system tool — not filler, but a deliberate part of the integration arc.

Group Coaching & Personal Attention

The 15–30 person cap exists so every participant gets direct attention from Jade and the team. This is not a conference. Everyone gets seen.

Digital Detox

Phones off. Notifications gone. The absence of your usual digital environment is itself a neurological intervention — one most people haven't experienced since childhood.

Integration Journaling System

Dr. Jade's identity journaling methodology — a tool you leave with and continue using. The work doesn't end at checkout.

Transportation Coordination

Coordinated transport from Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro, NC available for an additional $150.

The Location

Mountains of North Carolina

Remote. Beautiful. Deliberately unfamiliar. The setting is not incidental — it's part of the mechanism. Beauty + novelty + removal from the familiar is one of the oldest and most reliable conditions for transformation.

Your Guide

Led by Dr. Jade Teta

Jade has spent 35 years in the transformation field — as a personal trainer, clinician, couples counselor, and educator. He is a naturopathic physician licensed in family practice medicine, and is completing a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology with a specialty in consciousness and personal transformation.

He built the Awakening after recognizing a pattern across thousands of clinical encounters: people who understood exactly why they were stuck could not change through understanding alone. The subconscious doesn't respond to logic. It responds to experience — the right experience, in the right conditions, delivered in the right sequence.

The Awakening is the concentrated form of that recognition.

Common Questions

Before you register

Who is The Awakening for?
The Awakening is for people who are functional and capable — and still stuck in the same patterns. You understand the concepts. You've done the work. And something keeps reasserting itself: in your health, your relationships, your income, your sense of purpose. If you're ready to address that at the root rather than managing it at the surface, this is for you.
Is this therapy? Is this coaching?
It is neither — and it is both in a way that neither typically is. This is identity-level work: addressing the subconscious stories and nervous system patterns that produce the behavior, not the behavior itself. If you are dealing with active mental illness, clinical trauma, or emotional crisis, you need a licensed therapist, not this event. If you are stuck in old conditioning and patterns that keep recreating the same outcomes, this is built for exactly that.
What are the subconscious depth sessions?
These are structured sessions using breath-based activation, somatic processing, and sacred cacao to facilitate access to subconscious material that ordinary waking states don't reach. The goal is to open the reconsolidation window — the neurological state where conditioned stories become updatable — and pair new meaning with old emotional patterns. These sessions are guided by Dr. Jade and his team throughout.
What are the accommodations like?
Dorm-style rooms with separate men's and women's areas. A limited number of private rooms are available on request. The shared accommodation is intentional — proximity, shared experience, and common purpose are the conditions that create the kind of community connection most adults haven't experienced since early adulthood. If you need a private room for medical or personal reasons, reach out before registering.
What about food?
All meals are included and designed to reduce inflammatory load and support cognitive and emotional clarity. An optional modified fast (500–1,500 calories per day) is available for those who want it. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated — contact us before registering to confirm.
How do I get there?
The retreat is located in the mountains of North Carolina. The nearest major airport is Piedmont Triad International (GSO) in Greensboro, NC. Coordinated transportation from GSO to the retreat and back is available for an additional $150. If you are driving, location details are provided upon registration.
How many people will be there?
A maximum of 15–30 participants. This cap is not marketing — it is a requirement of the work. The small group creates the conditions for everyone to be seen, heard, and directly attended to. Once spots are filled, registration closes.
What happens after the event?
You leave with the NLH integration journaling system — a structured tool for continuing the identity work independently. The Awakening is also a natural entry point into the Human Game (the ongoing 12-week identity conditioning program) and Human Coaching for those who want continued support. The event opens the door. What you do with it is yours.
