Registration, Waiver and Release of Liability

Next Level Human LLC | Camp Cheerio, Glade Valley, North Carolina | 11 to 16 April 2027

General Provisions

This registration, and the waivers in it, apply to all participants, guests, staff and volunteers ("Registrant" or "you") of The Awakening, a five night residential event held at Camp Cheerio, Glade Valley, North Carolina, from Sunday 11 April 2027 to Friday 16 April 2027 (the "Event"), organized by Next Level Human LLC, 8 The Green, STE B, Dover, Delaware 19901 ("Next Level Human," "we," "us").

The Event includes breathwork and meditation sessions, movement practice, time outdoors on camp grounds and trails, group and individual coaching, optional modified fasting, shared dormitory accommodation and all meals.

This registration is written and executed in English. Any translation is not an official version, and the English version controls.

Pre-Screening

Part of the mission of Next Level Human is to offer a safe, supportive space for personal transformation. Although we wish we could support every situation, there are conditions we are not able to safely support at this Event.

Although our team is there to offer education and tools, it is assumed that each person attending is fully responsible for their own physical, emotional and spiritual well being before, during and after the Event.

As the health and safety of you, our staff and other Registrants is paramount, if you have a history of or are currently experiencing any of the following, we ask that you do not attend without medical clearance from your treating provider: bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, PTSD, an eating disorder, or any other psychiatric condition or emotional crisis requiring hospitalization. The same applies to a seizure disorder, a heart condition, uncontrolled high blood pressure, aneurysm, recent surgery, glaucoma or retinal detachment, or if you are pregnant.

Please list any medical or psychiatric condition, and every medication you take, below. Please also give us an emergency contact. We rely on what you tell us when we decide whether it is safe for you to attend, and if you withhold something material we may decline or remove you without refund.

Age

To attend this Event you must be 18 years of age or older. Do not proceed with registration if you do not meet this minimum age.

Rules of Conduct and Admission

This is a shared space and it works because of how people treat each other in it. You agree to treat other Registrants, our team and the venue staff with respect, to follow reasonable instructions from the facilitators, and to respect other people's boundaries.

If someone's behavior is disturbing others or putting anyone's safety at risk, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the Event, and in that case the registration fee is not refunded.

We may also decline or cancel a registration before or during the Event for any other reason, at our discretion. If we do, your registration fee is refunded in full and you will be notified. We may not give a reason. We do not discriminate against any person on the basis of any characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.

Camp Cheerio is owned and operated separately from us. You agree to follow the venue's own rules while on its property.

Participation and Meditation Waiver, Release of Liability, and Consent

I, the undersigned Registrant, in consideration of my participation in the Event, agree to be bound by this waiver for myself and my personal representatives, executors, heirs, family members, successors and assigns, and acknowledge, agree and represent the following.

1. I desire to voluntarily participate in all of the practices offered at the Event, including breathwork, sitting and walking meditations, movement practice, group and individual coaching, and any other practice offered ("Participation"). I am aware that Participation may include intense and sustained practice, and that Registrants may experience unusual psychological, emotional and physical states of mind and body arising from it, including light headedness, tingling, strong or unexpected emotion, and in rare cases fainting. I am voluntarily participating with knowledge of the potential for unusual experiences. My Participation is voluntary, and I may decline or stop any practice at any time. I have read and fully understand the terms of this waiver, intending to be legally bound by them.

2. I understand there is a level of risk associated with Participation and that my body's response cannot be predicted with complete accuracy. I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND ASSUME THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATION, including the risk of physical or psychological injury, illness, pain, suffering, disability and death. I agree that I am responsible for any resulting personal injury and any damage to or loss of property, including that of another Registrant, and that I am solely responsible for any medical costs arising from it. I acknowledge it is my responsibility to determine whether I am sufficiently fit and healthy to participate safely.

3. I agree to consult my own doctor and obtain written medical clearance, if required due to a health condition, prior to Participation. If a consultation is not required, I declare that I am in adequate physical and psychological condition for Participation and am not aware of any condition or symptom that would prevent me from participating. I understand that Participation is not a substitute for medical treatment and that I should keep my own providers and my own care. I certify that I have not been advised against Participation by a qualified medical doctor.

4. I agree that Next Level Human, including its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, facilitators, coaches, volunteers, agents, successors and assigns, and Jade Teta individually (collectively, "Representatives"), does not dispense emergency medical services or medical advice, and does not prescribe any practice at the Event as a form of treatment for any mental, physical or medical problem, either directly or indirectly. Jade Teta is a naturopathic doctor licensed in California and Washington. He is not licensed in North Carolina and is not acting as your doctor, therapist or counselor at the Event, and no doctor and patient or therapist and client relationship is created.

5. I understand that Next Level Human takes no responsibility for health risks during my Participation. I assume the risk of physical injury, illness or death and agree that my Participation shall at all times be at my own risk. I, ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND MY PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, EXECUTORS, HEIRS, FAMILY MEMBERS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND AGREE TO WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE Next Level Human and all of its Representatives from any liability, loss, cost, damage, expense, claim or suit whatsoever for any injury, loss, illness, death, harm, cost, expense, claim, suit or damage related to my Participation, including any negligent acts or conduct by Next Level Human and its Representatives (collectively "Claims"). I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Next Level Human and its Representatives from and against any and all third party Claims associated with my Participation.

6. This waiver does not release Next Level Human or its Representatives from liability for gross negligence, willful or wanton conduct, or any liability that cannot be released under North Carolina law.

7. If I am injured or become ill and cannot act for myself, I authorize Next Level Human and venue staff to summon emergency services and to authorize emergency treatment deemed necessary by attending medical personnel, at my own cost. I understand the venue is rural and that emergency response and transport take longer than in a city.

8. I understand that Next Level Human and its staff are not responsible for me while I am outside the designated event area, and are not liable for misplaced, lost or damaged items belonging to me, whether stored by me or by anyone else.

9. I understand that Next Level Human makes no representation, warranty or guarantee about any outcome or result from my Participation, and that nothing said at the Event or in any marketing is a promise of a result.

10. This waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of North Carolina. If any portion is held invalid, the balance remains in full legal force and effect.

I confirm, by checking the box below, that I have read and understand the information, representations, covenants, releases and waivers stated above, and voluntarily give my permission to be bound by this waiver.

Confidentiality

What other Registrants share at this Event is confidential. I will not repeat it, write about it, post it, or identify any other Registrant as having attended, at any time, including after the Event ends. I may of course speak about my own experience.

I will not record any part of the Event. That includes audio, video, photography of sessions, live streaming, transcription, and any application or artificial intelligence tool that captures or reproduces what happens in a session. Phones and devices are off for the duration of the Event.

The curriculum and written material used at the Event are the intellectual property of Next Level Human and are licensed to me for my personal use only.

Event Photography

By attending this Event you acknowledge that photographs and audio and video footage will be taken, and that your image and likeness may be used by Next Level Human for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media. By registering you (i) grant and authorize Next Level Human the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of all pictures or video taken of you for marketing and publicity; (ii) waive all rights to any claim for payment or royalties in connection with any such use, regardless of purpose and whether or not a fee is charged; (iii) waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video or audio recording; and (iv) release Next Level Human from all liability and causes of action which you, your heirs, representatives, executors or administrators may make in connection with such use.

If you would prefer not to appear in marketing material, tell us in writing before the Event and we will make reasonable efforts, although we cannot guarantee you will not appear in a wide shot.

Cancellation and Refunds

The Event fee is $3,333. The full cancellation and refund terms are published at nextlevelhuman.com/awakening-refunds and form part of this registration. In summary: a $500 deposit is non refundable; cancel on or before 12 December 2026 for a full refund less the deposit; between 13 December 2026 and 10 February 2027 you receive 50 percent; on or after 11 February 2027 there is no refund, and the same applies if you do not arrive or leave early. You may transfer your place to another person at no charge up to 12 March 2027 if they are screened and accepted.

If you are unable to attend because you have been diagnosed with a communicable illness or have a documented medical emergency, and you give us timely notice with reasonable medical documentation, we will issue a full credit toward a future Next Level Human retreat, valid for 24 months.

Travel, flights and accommodation outside the Event dates are your responsibility. We strongly recommend trip cancellation and travel medical insurance.

Governing Law

This registration, the waivers in it, and your participation in the Event, and all suits and proceedings relating to them, shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to the jurisdiction in which any action may be instituted. Venue for any legal or equitable action between Next Level Human and the Registrant shall be in the state or federal courts located in Buncombe County, North Carolina.

YOU IRREVOCABLY CONSENT TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN NORTH CAROLINA FOR SUCH PURPOSES AND WAIVE ANY OBJECTION THAT NORTH CAROLINA IS NOT CONVENIENT. YOU AND NEXT LEVEL HUMAN FURTHER AGREE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY WITH RESPECT TO ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION.

Affirmation

I hereby declare that the information I have provided is true and correct. I understand that any willful dishonesty may result in my registration being revoked with no refund, at the sole discretion of Next Level Human.
