Cancellation and refunds

Next Level Human LLC | Version 1.0, effective 10 September 2026

Part 1: The Awakening

The Awakening runs Sunday 11 April 2027 to Friday 16 April 2027 at Camp Cheerio, Glade Valley, North Carolina. The fee is $3,333.

We commit to the venue, the rooms and the food months in advance and we pay for your place whether or not you use it. The group is capped, so a seat you release late is a seat nobody else can take. That is the reason the terms below tighten as the date gets closer.

How to cancel

Email support@nextlevelhuman.com. Your cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your email, not the date you decide. Nothing else counts as notice.

The deposit

A $500 deposit is due at registration and is applied to your fee. The deposit is non refundable from the moment you register, except where this policy says otherwise.

You may pay the balance in full at registration or on the payment schedule offered at checkout. All payments must clear before the first day of the Program.

If you cancel

On or before Saturday 12 December 2026 (120 days or more before the start). Full refund of everything you have paid, less the $500 deposit.

Sunday 13 December 2026 to Wednesday 10 February 2027 (60 to 119 days before). 50 percent of the fee refunded. The deposit is not refunded.

Thursday 11 February 2027 onward (fewer than 60 days before). No refund.

If you do not arrive, or you leave the Program early for any reason, there is no refund and no proration for the part you did not use.

Two things you can do instead of cancelling

Move your place to the next Awakening. Ask on or before Wednesday 10 February 2027 (60 days out) and we will move your full payment to the next Awakening for a $350 rebooking fee. You may do this once.

Give your place to someone else. Up to Friday 12 March 2027 (30 days out) you may transfer your place to another person at no charge, provided they complete the health screen, are accepted, and sign the Participant Agreement. Money between the two of you is between the two of you. You may do this once.

Medical exception

If you are unable to attend because of a documented medical emergency, a serious injury, or a diagnosis of a communicable illness that makes travel unsafe for you or for the group, send us written documentation from a licensed provider and we will issue a credit for the full amount you have paid, valid toward any Next Level Human retreat for twenty four months, with no fee. This applies at any point, including the day of.

The same applies if the documented emergency is to a member of your immediate family.

This exception is a credit rather than cash, and it does not apply to travel disruption, work conflicts, weather affecting your flights, or a change of mind.

If we say no, or if we cancel

If we decline your registration on health or safety grounds after reviewing your health screen, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit, with nothing deducted.

If we cancel your registration for any other reason of our own, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit.

If we cancel or materially change the Program because of something outside our reasonable control, you choose between a full refund of the fee and a credit toward the next Awakening.

If we remove you during the Program for dishonesty on the health screen, for substances, for conduct, or for breaking confidentiality, there is no refund.

In every one of those situations we are not responsible for your flights, your travel costs, your accommodation outside the Program dates, or any other expense you have incurred.

Travel insurance

Buy it, and buy it at the same time you book, not later. Trip cancellation and travel medical cover is what pays you back when life gets in the way, and it costs a fraction of the fee. Most policies will not cover a cancellation you could already foresee when you bought the policy, which is why waiting does not work.

The year of The Human Game

Your twelve months inside The Human Game begin on the first day of the Program. If you cancel before the Program starts, that year never begins and no part of your fee is treated as payment for it. If you attend and then leave early, the year still runs and is not separately refundable.

Payment plans

If you are on a payment plan and an installment is more than thirty days late, and you have not contacted us, we may cancel your place. If we do, the refund tier that applies is the one in force on the date we cancel, applied to what you have actually paid.

Before you dispute a charge

Write to support@nextlevelhuman.com first. A person reads every message that comes in and we would rather sort it out with you directly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first is a breach of this policy, and we will respond to the card issuer with a copy of what you signed.
