The Mastermind | Next Level Human

THE MASTERMIND · ONE YEAR · LIMITED SEATS

You tell people what you do. Then you watch their face do nothing.

You can do the work. What you cannot do is say what you are in a way that makes somebody lean in. So you say coach, or therapist, or clinician, and if you are feeling brave you add that you work with women, and the sentence dies in the air between you.

Is it you, or is the market actually full?

It is genuinely full. That part is not in your head.

The number of working coaches rose 54% between 2019 and 2022, to roughly 110,000, and that end of the field has no regulator and no barrier to entry at all. Someone can cut hair on Friday and sell business coaching on Monday. You trained for years, and if you are a clinician or a counselor you trained a good deal longer than that. To a stranger scrolling past, the two of you look identical.

And most of what that stranger sees is secondhand. The industry runs on recycled Tony Robbins and warmed-over Landmark (I have sat through both, more than once), with each person adding their own spin on top. So the market is not short of coaches at all. What it is starving for is somebody who sounds like they are speaking from a place they actually stood in.

Being excellent has never been the same thing as being chosen.

It was never a niche problem.

You have been sold the wrong diagnosis for years, and you probably paid for it more than once.

Everyone tells you to niche down. So you narrow it, and narrow it again, and the sentence still lands flat, and you decide the problem is that you have not narrowed enough. I did this for years myself, back when I thought the answer to every business problem was another funnel. It is the wrong end of the problem entirely, and the people who study this market keep arriving at the same finding, which is worth reading twice.

Most coaches think they have a niche problem. They almost never do. They have an identity problem.

Stay broad and you stay safe, and staying safe is exactly how you stay invisible. But narrowing your audience was never going to fix an identity problem. All it does is take a vague person and make them vague to a smaller number of people.

Here is why that should land differently coming from me. Identity is the entire subject of Next Level Human, and it is the thing I have spent my career on. It is also work most of you have already done on yourselves, because almost nobody ends up in this profession without first having to go find the story that was running them. The Mastermind takes that exact same work and points it at your practice instead of your past.

The credential nobody is allowed to issue you

Think about the hardest thing you have lived through. Not the training. The thing.

Say it was a divorce, and a bad one. You almost lost everything. There was no money. You had to learn the lawyers, the filings, the custody math, and at the same time hold your own psychology together and keep the kids from absorbing all of it. You did that for two years.

That is a doctorate. No university grants it, no board certifies it, and there is a psychologist somewhere who has studied divorce for a decade and still cannot do what you can do in a room with a person who is in the middle of one right now. She has the map. You have actually been in the country, in the rain, without a car.

A job is how you make money. Work is how you make a difference.

Now put the training on top of the living. In my clinical practice I sat with thousands of people, and the ones who could actually move somebody were almost never the ones with the most letters after their name. They were the ones who had been through the thing and then gone and learned why it worked. That combination has never existed before in the order it happened to you, and it is not a nice thought I am offering you to feel better. It is the only competitive position you have that nobody is able to recycle.

THE MECHANISM

Essence: what the work is built on

Three things meet, and what comes out is not repeatable by anybody else.

  1. Your essential natureThe way you were before the world got a vote. What you notice first in a room, what you cannot stop caring about, what you would do whether or not it paid.
  2. Your earned wisdomEverything you survived and made sense of. The divorce, the diagnosis, the collapse, the years you do not talk about. This is the ingredient nobody can study their way into.
  3. Your free willWhere you choose to point it. Nature and wisdom are given to you. Direction is the part you decide, and it is what turns a history into a practice.

You are not special for being unique. Every person alive is unique, which is exactly what makes uniqueness a terrible thing to feel proud of. But because of it you are able to do something special, and that is a completely different sentence. There has never been another you and there is not going to be another one, which means there is work only you can do, in the way only you can do it, for people only you are able to reach.

What it looks like when it lands

Three practitioners, after the work. Notice that none of them say coach.

The Divorce Doula

She went through the whole thing. The lawyers, the money, the custody, the part nobody warns you about. She had to work it out with no map, and now the worst chapter of her life is the reason people find her.

The Midlife Maven

The kids left and the house went quiet and she had to build a life again from the middle of one. She named that passage instead of surviving it privately, and the women inside it recognised her on sight.

The King Maker

He had to become the leader before he knew how, in his own family and in his own work. He does not teach leadership to men. He makes them, and that is a claim only somebody who did it the hard way gets to make.

Two of those three came out of this room and all three came out of the same work. Notice what happened to the marketing problem along the way. It did not get solved so much as it stopped existing, because nobody has to be talked into choosing the Divorce Doula. They only have to find her.

So what actually happens in the year?

  • Bimonthly calls where we work on your business
Not lectures. You bring the real thing, the offer that is not selling or the message that keeps sliding off, and we work it in front of everyone.
    the room
  • Finding and building your category
The part you cannot do alone, because nobody can see their own story from inside it. That is the whole reason this is a room and not a course.
    the work
  • A license to use the Next Level Human tools
You deliver the frameworks and the method under licence in your own practice, in your own name.
    the licence
  • The BRN sessions
DEEP, BEEP, QAT and QEC. The proprietary subconscious work, licensed for you to run for your own clients.
    the technology
  • Continued access to the calls
Certification call access runs eighteen months. In here it does not stop.
    access
  • The community and the yearly live event
The people doing the same thing at the same time, and one room a year where everyone is physically in it.
    the people

Is this for you?

Coaches, clinicians, counselors, therapists, practitioners of every stripe. You are good at the actual work, and you cannot yet say what you are without sounding like everybody else in your field. If the results are real and the calendar is not full, that gap is the whole subject of the year.

You do not have to have trained with us. Plenty of people in this room came through the Human Architect certification and plenty did not, and what we are looking for in you was not put there by any training anyway. If you want the method itself as well, the certification is where that lives, and the two go well together in either order.

My opinion, and I could be wrong about this, is that most good practitioners quit about a year before the thing that would have made them findable. They decide the market is saturated when what actually happened is that they never got specific about who they had already become. I would rather you did not do that.

It is also not for you if what you want is a positioning template you can fill in on a Sunday afternoon. The thing we are looking for is buried in your own history, and getting it out and turning it into something you can actually sell takes a year and a level of honesty most people are not in the mood for.

What it costs

Five thousand five hundred and fifty five dollars for the year. Limited seats, and it is an application rather than a checkout.

The application is not a formality and it is not a hoop I am making you jump through. It is a conversation about whether this is the right move for you right now, because a year is a long time to spend in a room that turns out to be the wrong room. Some people should go do another year of practice first, and when I think that is you, I am going to say so.

One thing worth saying plainly. If you are also certified with us, the licence covers you to run the Next Level Human method and the BRN sessions in your own practice. If you are not, everything else in the year is still yours, and we will talk about the licence when we talk.

There has never been another you.

I have done this work, on myself first and then with thousands of people, and I can tell you the part nobody says out loud: the thing you think disqualifies you is usually the thing you are meant to build on. It is not easy. Easy is earned. But I know how to find it in you and I know how to turn it into a practice, and I want to invite you into the room where that happens. That is what you are ready for. That is what all of it was for.
