What the work has done.
These are people who did the work and told us what moved, in their own words. We share them first name only. Read a few. Then, if you want, come do your own.
Last year in Cohort 1 of The Game, so much was uncovered for me, a lot of it around money. I had tens of thousands in debt, and every single day it weighed so heavy on me, and on my marriage. I took the clues and information that got uncovered, made some minor shifts, started to believe a new story, and within three months I paid off all my credit card debt... more than $75k. This was a mountain I thought I could never get past, but I did it.

I have not taken this certification yet but believe I've been taken through the journey. Who was I before this journey? I was STUCK and FROZEN at the same time. I just sunk myself into work and college over the years to keep achieving and moving forward, to survive. This is how life looked for me on a day-to-day basis. Think about being stuck down in the earth in a well. The sunlight is just out of your reach, and you are trying to get out of the well up to the top of the earth screaming for help. Another analogy would be that person in the well was the person inside of me screaming to get out and become who I was meant to be. But the shell that person was in was hard and strong, and shushing that voice (gatekeeper). We had to break through an individual's own gatekeeping system to get to the individual that was trying to live. It has been hard to relinquish that control (gatekeeper) because it was a safety mechanism for survival. I had been my own gatekeeper since around the age 6-7. I had to. So many individuals are in this situation at young ages and grow up living with so much inside of them screaming to come out. I feel a bit freer each day. Grateful for those that have helped. It has not been a pleasant journey but healing never is. Anger, sadness, grief, love, happiness, confusion, and more emotions sometimes all at once making it hard to hold space for each emotion. You just have to let it happen and pass through. Easier said than done. Sometimes we never let it pass through, so it stays stored and the cycle continues, this work brought it out. It was ugly and probably still will be to some degree, but it's been much better. I am not that screaming kid anymore..

I struggle with being told I made a mistake or made to look stupid. I always feel I have to prove myself right. This was my focus for today's DEEP. I saw myself as a young child being ignored by my young mum as I cried and feeling rejection. Not having seen it this way before the lesson was in rejection and not feeling loved. My mum has always been loving but when I was younger there were 4 of us kids, at one point, under 6 years old and she was too young to cope. Dad was a gambler, drinker and abusive so that didn't help either. The session today taught me so much. I am grateful for that, so grateful. Now I don't feel it's my fault, I understand my feelings, and can see it from a different perspective. The journaling at the end really helps me have the open conversation also. I have never journaled before as I thought it too open and my thoughts are private, but now I see it like having a conversation with someone. Very helpful! Thank you

I set my intention to be shown my next steps; a signpost; a beacon - where to go and what to do with my energy. I didn't get that at all. I got something better - an overwhelming sense of gratitude for all the nudges, teachers and opportunties that have gotten me here, where I never, in my wildest dreams, imagined I would be (long, stable marriage; fulfilling 40+ year career, talents for music etc. that I wouldn't have dared dream up when I was a teen. And implied that whether I know it or not, Source is guiding me.

The Awakening has been a profound, safe, non-judgmental and happy experience for me with a wonderful group of participants and a professional, loving caring team. It has helped me reconnect with my body and not judging myself, and adding what I need to make the changes I want to make. After decades of therapy (talking, exposure, hypno, EMDR, etc) I was surprised to tap into and old wound I had never expected to be there. I got released and is gone now. It has given me visceral insights into my strategies and a plan on how to move forward after going home. I feel very grounded, focused, passionate and looking forward to what's to come and curious about wherever my journey leads me.

I had such a powerful DEEP session the week before last, I haven't really been able to talk about it or share my story. I couldn't put it into words until today. Most of the time, when we're supposed to focus on a memory or a feeling in our bodies, I have to go to the feeling in my body. I don't remember most of my life. I have very few memories from my childhood or my first two marriages. Most of my memories are from the last four years since I've been with my husband. Now, the most powerful thing I learned in Alanon was to keep the focus on me. I learned not to be a victim and blame others for my circumstances. I took radical ownership of my life. But there was a piece I missed. I was still allowed to have feeling about other people's actions. That broke loose in the middle of a DEEP session. I found myself yelling. Yelling out loud. I finally let my anger out. In the days that followed I noticed my chronic hip and shoulder pain disappeared.

Today, I did my first DEEP session from the Game Perception Portal. It was so powerful. I felt strong tingling in my upper cheeks, a tightening in my waist, dizziness, and a slight disorientation. Then I sobbed during the relaxed breathing phase. There were a lot of insights. I wrote them all down. May I know when I can move on to the next lesson or exercise? Is it a few days after, to allow for processing? I am so grateful for the experience.

Today's session was SO powerful. I was witnessing but also felt like I was being coached the entire time. I got so much out of watching, listening and experiencing the emotions being brought forward. Thank you to everyone who showed up to receive coaching today and thank you Jade. I can't articulate how impactful it was for me.

Unprocessed grief and guidance After I watched the replay of compound coaching I decided to do a DEEP session on any unresolved grief. Grief came and held my hand. I expected to see my late parents. Instead my great-grandmother Maggie appeared out of a purple light. As a child and young adult I followed her around the farm and learned so much from her. She was my role model as a strong woman who knew how to nurture her garden, orchard and her family. I felt so much love and joy in my heart. She told me how happy she was that I stayed so connected to the earth all while working full-time and caring for my family. Plus she reminded me that I soon will have a new daughter-in-law living nearby to help me with my dream. She was also so amused by all of the colorful stories I told my family over the years about walking in her apple orchard and eating her famous cherry pies. Plus she was extremely proud that I learned how to garden, grow apples, and can and freeze food we have grown. She reminded me of my purpose to be connected to the earth and to teach others to grow and preserve food. She promised that I would receive strength and guidance to continue on this path. I was moved to tears because I was so blessed to know her and learn from her. I felt so peaceful and thankful for this incredible vision. Grief was still there at the end but seemed lighter and was mostly replaced with gratitude for my life. I think my purpose is becoming clear. Bring on retirement.

These are individual experiences people chose to share with us. They are not a promise. Results vary from one person to the next, and the work asks something of you.
