For a long time, I watched people with a fraction of my training build audiences ten times the size of mine.
They were louder. More confident. Quicker with a hot take. And a lot of them were... wrong. Confidently, beautifully wrong.
Meanwhile I was doing the real work, quietly, and almost no one could find me.
I used to tell myself it was because I wouldn’t dumb it down. That the algorithm rewarded noise, and I was too good for noise. That was ego talking... and it kept me invisible for years.
Here is what I finally understood. Attention isn’t a popularity contest you lose to louder people. It’s a positioning problem. And positioning has a solution.
The people scrolling past me weren’t choosing shallow over deep. They were choosing clear over confusing. Confident over hesitant. A person who stood for something over a person who listed their credentials.
I was showing up as one more expert adding value. The internet has infinite experts adding value. What it doesn’t have is you, teaching the one thing only you can teach, out loud, in a way the right person recognizes as theirs.
So I stopped trying to be seen, and started being clear. I stopped competing as an entertainer, and started teaching as the expert.
I claimed a point of view instead of hedging. I taught what I actually do, not motivation. I let my own story and my clients’ results carry the weight, instead of me carrying it.
And the people who need depth stopped scrolling past... and started passing my name to each other.

Anyone can flood the feed with content for free. A machine will write it for them. The influencers already own the reach, and they are not going to hand it back.
